The next Baysec meeting is Tuesday, July 13, 7 pm at the Irish Bank. Come out and meet fellow security people from all over the Bay Area. As always, this is not a sponsored meeting, there is no agenda or speakers, and no RSVP is needed.

In an effort to be proactive, the meeting after this will be August 17. Mark your calendars.
You meant Tuesday, right?
Yes, fixed.
Gack, that was a week earlier than I expected. I thought they were a month apart. Oh well, I’ll make it to one eventually.
You can get earlier notice by joining the mailing list at baysec.net
The San Francisco Debate group will be having its usual post-debate eating and drinking and informal arguing session starting around 9 p.m. that same night at the Irish Bank, in the outdoor seating area. The reason I’m posting about it here is that the debate of the night will be on the motion “This House Supports the Right of WikiLeaks to Leak Any Information it Possesses”: click on my name for a link. The debate itself will be at the Commonwealth Club starting at 7 p.m. (and all are welcome: it’s free for Comm. Club members, $5 for non-members). If any of you computer security folks feel like sharing your opinions and knowledge about WikiLeaks with a group of non-technical people who are interested in the issue, we’ll be at the Irish Bank from 9 p.m. until about 10 or 11.
Thanks, Peter.
